EMS/Japan Post may still honor the $800 USD tax-free threshold, meaning parcels under this value might not be taxed. However, this information is not confirmed and may change at any time.
We strongly recommend that you contact USPS directly to verify the latest import conditions before requesting a shipment.

About shipping in Japan
Effective from October 1st, 2023: Please be informed and read the page bellow.
To our valued customers,
Starting from October 1st, 2023, in line with the new regulations, a 10% consumption tax will be applied to all products shipped within Japan. Please note the following key points:
- The 10% consumption tax will be added to the shipping cost, and not at the time of order payment, for orders with a delivery address in Japan.
- This tax is applicable all status in Japan including foreign students, residents working holidays and visitors.
- Customers will be notified when this tax has been applied to their order on the order page.
For addresses in Japan that are forwarding companies, the consumption tax will not be applied. We reserve the right to request additional supporting documents if necessary or if requested by the tax office, in order to exempt a shipment in Japan from taxes.
